Well kiddies.... i'm back for at least one more post... some of you might know already that i'll be out of the US for about the next 5 months, but for those of you who didn't here's a lil breakdown of what i'll be doing

My Trip

June 17-19... Last trip to SD? (Graduations and Katrina's 21st)
June 24... Flight to Hong Kong (just a transfer)
June 26... Arrive in Taipei (damn time change... i just lost two days)
July 1-31... Loveboat (learning is fun =P)
August 1-5... Hong Kong (doing nothing is fun too)
August 5-Sept 1... Beijing (Olympics silly!)
September 1-8... Tokyo (damn this place is expensive)
Sept 8-November 19... Taipei (during this time I may travel to one or two of the following places; Thailand, Korea, the Philippines)

anyways that is all pretty self explanatory... what isn't is why i haven't been writing anything here despite having the time nowadays. Will I address that topic?? no... instead i'll just get right back into it =P

Kisses on the cheek!?!
For the nearly the past 22 years (i'm still 21 technically) this gesture/action has confounded my senses. Does it have romantic intent or is it simply some sort of greeting like a handshake?? People on Tv and Celebs seem to always greet everyone with kisses on the cheek yet i so rarely see it in person... is it an issue of social class?? or maybe something concerning age?? or maybe only people that know each other to a certain degree can do it?? Why have i speculated so much about what makes it ok to greet people in that fashion?? obviously i've been waiting to do it! I mean i think it'd be a great way to say hi to a friend of the opposite sex... but without understanding the meaning behind the gesture of course it'd be a very big risk to do so. I also unfortunately have a hunch that there is a double standard when it comes to kisses on the cheek where when a gurl does it its probably ok but when a guy does it the gurl might think there is something more to it... hmmz what do you guys think? if a friend kissed you on the cheek as a greeting what would you think?? what factors go through your mind when trying to determine whether its something or nothing... sex? age? relation? eligibility? type of personaliy? man.... I think so much about all these sorts of things huh?
